Last year I became an affiliate partner with Caraway and although it’s taken me FAR longer than planned to finally write my honest review of their products (sorry Caraway!) – I am, finally, getting around to it.
I was moving apartments, and there is nothing like wrapping each individual pot and pan to make you realise just how grim your previous pans had got, so I was on the hunt for a new set. I’d spotted Carawy on my social media feed and was instantly ‘influenced’. It was the colors that did it for me. Not the garish reds and blues I’d typically seen, and more interesting than the black I’d always purchased. So I decided to reach out to Caraway and was lucky enough they agreed to send me a set to try. Firstly, I am a sucker for nice packaging, and Caraway did NOT disappoint. I ordered the Cookwear Set in Sage Green and was instantly struck by how HEAVY they were. They felt like beautiful quality pieces, almost too beautiful to hide away in the cupboard. The set came with the perfect every day frying pan , a smaller saucepan perfect for sauces or pasta, a larger saute frying pan (admittedly I don’t use this one as much as the others) and then a nice hefty casserole size. Between these four sizes, we honestly don’t need any others, it’s the perfect combo.
Our new apartment came with a dishwasher (GAME.CHANGER) so I was initially a bit bummed that Caraway advise you don’t put them in the dishwaher, but I need not have worried. They are so exceptionally non-stick, you barely have to scrub them to clean them. Even verrrrry burnt on things (RIP the birthday stew I made for my husband) come off so easily! After now 3 months of heavy use, they look as good as new.
Needless to say, I am obsessed. OMG I didn’t even mention the storage solutions – ummmm why have I not been storing my lids like this for the last 34 years?! and WHO KNEW you could store pans on their side. Anyway, it will change your life for the better trust me, worth every penny.
