Isy’s Interiors is a New York-based full-service interior design studio that specialises in creating innovative and highly tailored interiors on private residential projects. Through our signature design approach, we develop bespoke plans suited to each individual project resulting in comfortable, luxurious spaces reflective of our clients’ tastes, interests, and lifestyles.
Projects range from full home renovations, to smaller decorative projects which focus on furnishings and finishing touches. Our comprehensive, tailored interior design services include: space planning, selection and sourcing of furniture, lighting, paint and finish selections, window treatments, selection of fine art and decorative accessories as well as management of the design process from procurement through installation.
Led by founder and creative director Isy Runsewe, the studio’s overriding aesthetic involves a blend of color and texture, modern and antique and unexpected surprises to create a warm, inviting and elevated space.

Isy Runsewe, an established interior designer based in New York, founded Isy’s Interiors in 2020 with a single vision: to bring joy to her clients’ lives through intentional and deeply personal design.
Isy’s career began in the art world, where she spent the first 10 years of her professional life working at some of London’s most prestigious auction houses and blue-chip galleries. Her journey into interior design started by chance after moving to New York. Despite having no formal education in design, Runsewe’s innate sense of design, color, and style set her apart from the beginning.
Since founding Isy’s Interiors, Isy and her team have completed over 100 residential projects in New York City and internationally. Her work has been featured in various publications, including Homes & Gardens, Luxe Design, and Aspire, among others.

Seasoned interior designer Melanie oversees nearly all projects at Isy’s Interiors. A stickler for detail, she manages projects gracefully and effortlessly, ensuring Isy’s vision is brought to life with ease.
She is responsible for leading and collaborating on client projects, and skillfully executing the Isy’s Interiors vision across various channels.
Melanie comes from 10 years of interior design experience and recently moved from Florida to New York to fully join Isy on the ground.
